The Apple iPad 2 - Improvements Over iPad

iPad 2 is a follow up to the iPad that was successfully released by Apple last year. There is no doubt that the product redefined the consumer electronics market and that the new iPad 2 is set to take it to a whole new level. In terms of pre-installed applications, the iPad 2 bears the same similarities to the original. Even though the hardware components on the device have been enhanced, they are somewhat similar. The display unit is 9.7 inches wide, which is similar to the previous version.

The overall dimension and shape of the iPad 2 hasn't changed even though it has a brand new dual-core A5 processor, enhanced memory capacity, plus a pair of new cameras. At a glance, you would say that most of the changes made to the iPad 2 are basically cosmetic, given that the technical specifications remain the same. In comparison to other similar gadgets in the market, the device did soar in terms of sales. Somehow consumers found the unit is a much friendlier and better gadget to utilize than the Galaxy from Samsung.

However, the million dollar question that everyone keeps asking is, "Is it worth it to upgrade from iPad to iPad2?" Given the debate that has been going back and forth in regards to the performance of iPad 2, there are a category of consumers that are still skeptical about shifting from the original to iPad 2. In terms of graphics and internet connectivity, there have been major improvements in the new iPad 2.

The argument about iPad 2 has always been and will always be about the hardware. From a personal point of view, the iPad 2 has redefined sleek and sexy when it comes to computing hardware. If you compare the original to the latest iPad 2, you will know that Apple worked day and night to ensure that the new design is well above board.
