iPhone Vs Galaxy 2 Table 10

In recent weeks I have tested the new Apple iPhone 2 against their direct competition, Galaxy Tab 10.1v. I should point out before I start this with an iPad (version 1) for the Australian launch last year, while the galaxy is much more of a newcomer Tab 10.1v. Android tablets are available since last year, but the 10.1v is the first in Italy to use the Tablet-specific version of Google Android, informally known as"Honeycomb". Make this potential harm, what you want.

Prices:

Apple Ipad2

iPhone 16GB 2: $ 579 / $ 729

10.1v Galaxy Tab: $ 729

The prices are two variants on iPad2 Apple offers with and without the 3G, if you see iPad2 the cheapest is the one who does not have mobile broadband, Wi-Fi only. It 'pretty obvious that this is a tied race for clearer prices similar tablets, though. There are catches of both approaches, which may not be immediately apparent. And 'possible to spend a little' more about iPad2 - up to $ 949 - but that comes with greater storage capacity up to 64GB, where the 10.1v is a public company, together, 16GB immutable. On the other hand, 10.1v, which is exclusive to Vodafone, offered by the carrier under a contract starting at $ 39 per month included with the data. From the standpoint of budget, this is pretty convincing.

Look & Feel:

Apple's entire marketing ploy behind the iPad2 is that they are thinner than those ofOriginal iPhone, and this is true, is 8.8 mm thick is thin and well tapered. The adapter 10.1v Galaxy is determined by comparing a rough beast, but it looks something like a hidden advantage. The back of the tablet structure and gently curved inward, making it easier to handle, even in the absence of a case. In comparison, the back is relatively slippery when iPad2 appeared in one case - if it goes to that point, the advantage of thickness.

Basic Specifications:

iPad2: Screen: 9.7 "1024x768 Processor: Dual Core Apple A5 1GHz Memory: 16GB, 64GB

10.1v Galaxy Tab: Display: 10.1 "1024x768 Processor: Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core 1 GHz Memory: 16 GB

Again, it's pretty neck and neck, a bigger screen and better resolution 10.1v are nice, but the fact that there is a fixed amount of memory is a curiosity in the world, and Android looks like a sore thumb.

Performance:

This is a more subjective, and much harder to call. There is no doubt thatA honeycomb is much better than the previous version of Android tablets are available, how to make native applications for making better use of screen space, on-screen navigation is very snappy, does the email client is also available, and browser still a bit 'faster iPad2. With the landmark online browser market, I got a score of 88 717 for the Tab 10.1v Galaxy, against 70 310 for iPad2. If the application is small, the board gives Galaxy 10.1v beautiful. The problem forAndroid is that it is still a lack of real 'honeycomb' applications for Android and Android applications to run older, a very uncertain business. Some scale-up the entire screen properly, while others have only a small portion of the screen, or shrink at all so small, needless to occupy. In comparison, the iPad2 not only a rich selection has to offer native applications, but also the vast majority of iPhone applications with just a little 'chunkiness pixel scaleCons. A honeycomb should be better over time in this way, but now is not right there.

Conclusions:

The 10.1v is a solid competitor iPad2, but it is still not well, and is something that Samsung is known all too well. The company has already announced that the new model for the Galaxy, 10, slim frame and soon perhaps with more memory. And 'good for competition with Apple to see in this room, but for now, I would still say that the richestApplication infrastructure to support iPad2 makes it a better buy. If you staunchly anti-Apple, for some reason, I think it would still be worth it, more money for the tablets Android, and beat the most critical applications honeycomb native market.
